The counter as spine
In shallow Śródmieście units the counter often does more work than the seating: greeting, display, payment, and a visual anchor from the street. We compose height, overhang, and material so the edge reads from Nowy Świat pavement without blocking daylight into the room.
Standing sections need clearance so coats and bags do not block the aisle behind.
Guest face and work face
We draw both sides. Guest height, knee space, and a place to set a cup matter as much as storage depth on the working side. When you supply equipment sizes we note footprints; we do not specify kitchen machinery or food-handling workflows.
Where a restaurant bar faces a Praga dining room, sightlines stay open enough for atmosphere without turning the counter into a stage that fights the brick.
Finishes that survive wet trays
Warsaw winters bring wet gloves and frequent wipe-downs. Worktops and front panels need finishes that accept cleaning without looking tired after one season. Soft rose and mint appear as painted or textile notes; structural faces stay timber, stone, or durable laminate as the brief allows.
Rhythm with seats and light
Counter length drives how many stools fit and where pendants hang. We coordinate with seating plans and lighting mood so the service edge and the first row of seats share one beat.

Elevations, a material call-out, and notes for your joiner or fit-out firm. Plumbing and electrical connections are flagged for licensed trades — not installed by the studio. Counter-led packages typically start from 6,500 PLN.
